Around the World in 40 Days

Since this is my first entry on my new travel blog site, I thought I’d keep it nice and simple and just introduce my next big trip!

Quite simply, I’ll be travelling around the world!

While Phileas Fogg did it in 80 days, admittedly in the days before air travel, I plan to do it in half that time – six weeks, or 40 days – quite simply going eastwards from London, until I end up in London again.

I begin by spending a few days in Macau, then head over to New Zealand for three weeks. From there, I hop up to Fiji for six days, then to Tahiti and Bora Bora in French Polynesia for six more days, before ending up in Southern California for my final four days, and flying home from there.

And while I travel, I will of course be writing up my adventures – this time on my own website, for the first time! Do watch this space 🙂
